Security agents

Hi, within our environment we would like to deploy Proxmox Mail Gateway. I’d like to ask whether it is possible to install security agents for EDR, patch management, etc. on a virtual Linux instance of Proxmox, and whether doing so would affect support? We are planning to purchase an annual subscription.
