Hi,

I'm trying to search for terms like ZFS or LVM or LXC.
Bot each of them give no results... I guess there is a 3 letter restriction? Because disk does give results.

Anyway to bypass this restriction?

Thanks. Wessel

Hi,

the limit is there but it rejects words with less than 3 characters, so LVM/ZFS/LXC should work.

The standard search of the forum is a bit annoying (edit: after the change its a lot better), try the advanced under https://forum.proxmox.com/search/?type=post

Ok, the mysql fulltext search index was set to the default of 4 characters minimal length, and the settings from XenForo do not touch that.
I changed it to 3 and rebuild the index on our test forum instance and it looks good, we will integrate this changes on the real (this) forum after a few tests.

Edit: It's now enabled on the production forum, search for 3 character words should be a lot better now.
