SDN development status

Hi,

Does anybody know of the development plans with the SDN (Software Defined Networking) feature?

I remember it to be on the roadmap, but it seemed to be removed? Also the documentation is still showing experimental as current state.

Hi, I'm the main author of the sdn feature. it still beta, but it already works fine for the network setup (I'm using it production).

you just need to install libpve-network-perl package to enable it.

I'm currently working on ipam integration with vm/ct for auto-ip allocation.

Looking forward to the IPAM integration aswel. Is this already planned for a release, or does it remain on the background for a while?

Ipam (for vm/CT) is still on the work, I don't think it'll be ready before the end of the year.
I have already send a lot of patches, but it need to be review by proxmox devs team.
