Hi,

I have a fujitsu server which connected to Eternus SAN storage for Boot device. Where I'm installing proxmox OS which ended up with below error that says unable to create volume group 'pve' with an error 'Cannot use device sda3 with duplicates'. I'm using Qlogic fiber cards and boot on LUN has been enabled on the Bios.

Thanks in advance for everyone.

These are the search terms that help you get started: "debian boot device multipath"

You may not be able to do this with native PVE ISO installer. In that case use this guide for installing PVE on top of vanilla Debian https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_11_Bullseye, after you have configured your boot device for appropriate multipath configuration.
Note, that if you plan to install Debian - your storage vendor may have a guide for you.

In addition what @bbgeek17 said: I tried this years ago (with other Linux distributions) and it wasn't as stable as I'd liked and we just went for a mirrored boot drive and never looked back.
