Ryzen 5 5600X vs Ryzen 7 3800X

Hi everyone,

I'm torn between the decision of going with an R5 5600X and an R7 3800X.

I would like to set up quite a lot of containers and around 3-4 VM's and I know the 5600X has better single core performance but fewer cores/threads and the 3800X having more cores/threads but lesser single core performance.

I'd like to hear your opinions on this situation, thank you

I do not like it; therefore I would go with the 5700X.

Only you know your workload(s).
If I really had to choose between those two only, I personally would go with the 5600X...
