hello there
i was wondering if any one here have an advice or have experiance in running
new oracle vm templates on proxmox ve
i know following facts

1- oracle vm templats use hvm-pv or hvm and its xen based virtulaztion ( open source xen )

2- templats are .tgz after uploading it to proxmox templets dirctory it shows up as unknown templete

3- running oracle ebusiness suite 11i 32 bit test/production on vm my main target for the following reason
ebuiness suite 11i is not certifed on linux 64 bit so i was thinking to assign one 64 bit core to it thorugh vm and install 32 bit linux redhat es 4.7 on it

4- how oracle handel swap i understand its an issue on openvz but how about hvm machines any experiance ?

5- converting running redhat 4.7 machine and 3.3 enterprise versions to hvm machines or openvz

iam very confused due the fact i know oraclevm support them and i see the templet is orgnaised as hvm-pve or pve only

any comments apprichated

Please do not load up arbitrary .tgz files - it will not work anyways.
