/run/samba/msg.lock growing

Hi.
I have an issue in my cluster, the /run/samba/msg.lock is constantly growing until the filesystem is full. It grows one file every few seconds. I have one mounted share (qnap nas) for backups and it is working fine. How can i trakc back what the cause is?

unfortunately it's an upstream bug which hasn't been fixed... but there are some workarounds posted in the discussions.
