First: Proxmox VE 4.2 was released on 27.04.2016, 4 years ago and the latest of that release PVE 4.4 got EOL (End-of-life) in june 2018 and isn't supported anymore. https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#faq-support-table Please upgrade first to latest PVE 4.4 and then upgrade at least to 5.4 https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_4.x_to_5.0 ideally then to current 6.2: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_5.x_to_6.0 Further it would be good to include some details like what container distribution and version this.
