Hello community

I am very new to ProxMox as I am making my exit from vmware products and all that drama. I have proxmox all up and running. I have 2 linux bridge subsets setup right now. vmbr0 which is the main has internet and all. I created vmbr1 with a subnet of 192.168.55.100. I installed a windows 10 VM and set the ip information to:

192.168.55.160 ---- IP address
255.255.255.0 --- subnetmask
192.168.50.100 ---gateway
8.8.8.8 ------ DNS

The problem is I can't figure out how to route internet traffic to that subnet. I would like to isolate my VMs from my main network but not sure how to do this. Any help is appreciated and again I am very new to this so if you can help, please provide step by step if you can.

Thank you in advance
Mario

Hello,
Your IP address isn't in the same IP range as your gateway.
Check the third byte of your IP address, and of your gateway's.
You will have to modify one of them.

Kind regards,
