root=LABEL & root=UUID

Hi !

Proxmox 1.3 does not allow to specify a root filesystem using LABEL=... or UUID=..., only a physical device, lvm volume or hardware node.
I tried to tweak the init script in initrd.img, but unfortunately I couldn't make it work ...

Could anyone take a look at this ?
There are many situations where you cannot count on a fixed device ...

We use lvm labels like '/dev/pve/root' - so I do not really know what you talk about?
