root default password

I have installed proxmox on debian 12 in amazon ec2
i followed this https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Install_Proxmox_VE_on_Debian_12_Bookworm
i was never asked to enter root account password
now i can see login in my browser but i dont know what the root password is
what should i do ?
is there default password or i can some how reset it ?

ok i changed the password on debian server for root user and i was able to login to proxmox

Did you use AWS image to deploy? In that case the password is not set. By default only ssh key login is allowed. You can use the key to login and then set the password with "passwd".
Make sure to use proper firewall/security practices.
