Woke up this morning with the Proxmox web GUI and SSH shell inaccessible. Logging into the server via IPMI showed only the last ~30 on-screen errors repeating "read error on swap device." On reboot the base installation drive cannot be detected. My current set-up is a 32gb SSD for Proxmox itself, a 120gb SSD formatted ZFS for container installs, and 8x8gb WD Reds in Raid-Z2 for data.

Of course, I planned backups/redundancy for the container installs and data, but I neglected to backup the Proxmox configuration itself... Assuming I can't recover anything from the base installation SSD, what's the best way to reinstall proxmox on a new SSD and reimport my container profiles from the existing 120gb SSD? Search hasn't yield much so far. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

you have to write the ct config from scratch and add than the images to it.
I would make them on the GUI and move the image from the SSD to the new location.
