Hello,
So I am having some troubles ATM.
I installed Proxmox on a 240GB SSD, triple-booting alongside with Windows and Ubuntu.
No problems here, everything is working, the 3 OS.
I was configuring Proxmox, installing VMs etc.
There is one VM I already have on another PVE node, that gave me too much work installing it and configuring it.
So I would like to copy it to my this new node.
The best way I found out using google and this support forums, would be to backup the VM and restoring it on a new node.
So I mounted a SMB share on my old Proxmox Virtual Environment 7.4-19 and backed up.
I mounted the same share on my new Proxmox and Virtual Environment 8.3.1 browsed the share.
Via web gui, in the storage option, there is my samba share.
In the backup tab, I found out the VM I wanted, the only one there, and clicked restore.
I just changed the VM ID from 100 (default) to a number I would like and pressed restore.
I got this error message:
And now my local-lvm section is with que gray question mark.
None of my other VMs work, as they were stored in this local-lvm.
Please help
Thank you very much!

And now my local-lvm section is with que gray question mark.
None of my other VMs work, as they were stored in this local-lvm.
- What have I done wrong?
- What does the message means? I google if already but came to no conclusion.
- Is this recoverable? Tell me it is because I already reinstalled proxmox one time because of this, I tought it was because I change the hostname, but it seems it was during restore. But in the other attempt I managed to run this restored VM, so I don't know what I did differently.
Please help
