Restoring a Domain controller VM Failure

I had one of the VM's die today and i needed to restore it from backup. However i keep getting this same error:

swtpm_setup: Not overwriting existing state file.
kvm: tpm-emulator: TPM result for CMD_INIT: 0x101 operation failed
stopping swtpm instance (pid 85037) due to QEMU startup error
TASK ERROR: start failed: QEMU exited with code 1

I have tried locking and unlocking the config
I have also tried changing the VM-ID

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!.

Did you try deleting and recreating the TPM disk, which was a work-around here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/snapshot-failed-to-rollback.118761/post-671879 ?

Thank you!! That did it.. rebuilt tpm and it fired right up.
