Dear,

Is it possible to do a restore with just the datastore (chunks, lock files...) without pbs?
I made the backup on my external HD, and I need to restore it on my proxmox, but I don't have the pbs, just the External HD, with the data.

Thanks.

Then you will have to install a new PBS and configure it to use your old datastore folder, set up all users and privileges matching the owners of the backup snapshots (or change the ownership to fit a new user), add your PBS storage to PVE again, ...

Thanks for the feedback.

Is installing pbs on pve only via apt-get ? I wanted to install pbs on pve without internet. is there such a possibility?
