Restore VM and change the configuration

Hi All,

I have a question about restore the VM to another host.
I have backup the vm to proxmox backup server and we would like to restore the vm to another host via Live-Restore. The problem should be the vm configure not working in the new host(original:vCPU 12Cores ) but the new host only support 8Core. May i know it is possible to change the configuration in the backup file so i can complete the restore in the new host with Live-Restore mode?
