restart after network config

Hi,

is it really neccessary to reboot the hole server after an network configuration ?

i´ve tested "(/etc/init.d/networking restart", but after that, my vm´s are not connected to the internet...

after a reboot all vm´s are connected and the new configuration are applied..

is there a other workaround to take over a new configuration...

The fastest and easiest way is to turn off the VM and start again.
The workaround is to setup the bride-ports and tell qemu too use them.
