Hello everyone,

we've been using Proxmox during the last few months, with sucess.

Today we needed to add hard disk to a PCT running Centos 7.
We did it by the UI without problems. 13G in total. That was ok.

In the node the disk shows up with 13G:
Disk /dev/mapper/pve-vm--109--disk--0: 13 GiB, 13958643712 bytes, 27262976 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 65536 bytes / 65536 bytes

But we haven't been able to add the extra space in the container.
We can't locate the disk to alocate the extra space.
fdisk -l --> doesn't show anything.

Are we doing smth wrong?

Thanks for your help
Ricardo

hi,

if you used the UI to expand the container disk, you don't need to partition it.

Your quite right !!!!!
We didn't think is was automatic, so we tried to do it manually.

Thanks for the info ;)
