Hi all,

if we have a Server with a small hdd and we have a external storage with big size. we have mount the external storage to proxmox as nfs. if we mount this storage into the folder of vms (/var/lib/vz), does proxmox accept it or does proxmox doesn´t accept it? i acceppt, does working kvm migration to a after node or come the same error, how if trasnfer of internal storage 2 to root storage of other node.

regards

Hi
you can not mount the nfs direcly in /var/linb/vz (you should not) and why will you do this?
use the Gui and add the NFS as an new storage to your Datacenter.

Hi,

our problem is, we have a node, this node have only 2x 120gb ssd hdds in raid 1. we have add her storage in gui to the node. but if we would transfer/migrate a vm to a other node, it does not work, well storage is only reachable on this node. migrade we can only with network storages on all nodes and pva partitions.

regards

Yes this is true because when you migrate/transfer you do not need to transfer it with nfs (shared Volume).
The outer node where you transfer it must have access to this shared volume.

But sure you can mount it on /var/lib/vz if you really sure that there are no sharing on this storage, because PVE will no check it.
you can do this with fstab.
