hey there,
i have a good running raid on my proxmox.
After a little time i wanted to increase the capacity.
I was able to increase the raid but now when i want to increase the capacity of the hard disk of the vm i get a timeout. Doesnt matter if it s 1GB or 100GB.
There is enough space to resize it.
Bus is SATA and format is qcow2
I am running proxmox 4.4
Resizing disk via console is causing a timeout, too.
Anyone an idea?
Edit: With the vm online i was able to resize the disk. Can someone tell me please why the vm has to be online to resize a disk? I will mark this as solved in a few hours.
