Repost : Backup of VM xxx failed - job failed with err -61 - No data available

Dear All,

I know this is a repost, but no solution was found for a while and the thread went silent.

Would anyone have experienced the same issue and if so, how was it fixed?

When trying to take backups, the backup fails with "Backup of VM failed - job failed with err -61 - No data available"

fsck detected no errors, disk is clean, issue happening is 3 different servers.

Alternatively, can a snapshot be restored on a different node? instead of a backup?

In your previous post you mentioned running PVE 5.4. That version is EOL, there is a good chance that your issue is fixed in the latest 6.2 - we did a lot of work to our QEMU backup stack in the meantime.

Please provide the output of pveversion -v, as well as your VM config and qm showcmd <vmid> --pretty if you can still reproduce the issue on the latest version.
