Hi Proxmox users,

I installed Proxmox and was wondering why with the default install there is not allocated free space available...

root@proxmox:~# pvs
PV VG Fmt Attr PSize PFree
/dev/sda3 pve lvm2 a-- <39.50g <4.88g
root@proxmox:~# vgs
VG #PV #LV #SN Attr VSize VFree
pve 1 8 0 wz--n- <39.50g <4.88g

Is this space needed?
Can I use it to extend to my root lvm or the data thin-lvm or should there always be some free space remaining?

Thanks

awesome thanks. I didn't saw it. As I have only the thin data volume then I can use that space.
