Relay access denied

Hello.

Tried really everything but when i use a smarthost to route out email to the pmg for filtering, the pmg rejects the email with a RELAY ACCESS DENIED error.

- I added the ip to the networks list
- I point the smarthost to port 25
- Checked the postfix config if ip is whitelisted

What am i missing here?

Try pointing it at port 26 the internal relay port

Tried that also, but then mail does not get send at all

Do you have the domain name set up in mail proxy > relay domains?

Which domain do you mean? As it is outgoing with smarthost.

Do you mean the hostname?

just email.address of receiving@email.address
