Sorry for asking the question that has been asked before, but I haven't seen my scenario exactly, although it seems like it would be a common scenario. I wanted to create a cluster from my single node install that I have run for many years and realized I made a mistake formatting the new single drive pc the same way I formatted the original one with ext4 and realized I can't do migration unless I use ZFS, so reformatted the single drive with Raid 0 ZFS, used same node name and IP address. Can I just rejoin and expect that will fix the broken cluster or do I have to remove it first? Is all this a good idea? I would like to end up with a 3 node cluster, and assuming ZFS is the best format for single disk cluster nodes and HA. Should I run the command the error is showing? I still have the other drive that has quorum. Could I just back up the certificate and replace the certificate on the newly formatted drive? Seems like a reasonable approach, but not sure how.
Once that is sorted out, Is there any chance I will be able to migrate vm's from the original ext4 formatted to the new ZFS node and then rinse and repeat to reformat the original to ZFS, and then add My 3rd node (maybe better to change the order)?
