Reinstall Proxmox with BTRFS storage

I have a stand alone server Proxmox 7.2 that BTRFS crashed after a power issue. I am wondering if it would be easier to just reinstall proxmox. But will Proxmox see the BTRFS storage that is already setup after the reinstall? Or will I need to reinstall from all the backups too.

Hi,
Proxmox VE will wipe/override the disk(s) you select during the installation, so it'll only work If the VM images are on a separate disk. In any case, it's a good idea to have working backups and for the (VM/storage/etc.) configuration files, you should make a backup of /etc/pve/ or the config.db file.

Yes, the root disk is separate from the storage disks. Both should be raid 10+1
