hello

I have created an installation of test on a disc of 500 gb that I have divided in partitions sda1,2,3
LVM is the first divisions where it is installed proxmox and another partitions sda4 is where I have the virtual machines, my question is:

when I have to reinstall the system for some motive I will always have sda4 to recover said vms machines

how do I do to install proxmox and not to modify or to eliminate for accident sda4?

it mucht time for recovery sistem, any posible? i think copy the images directory to a NFS repository, and reinstall over HD.

of course you can use the backup feature to backup your vms to a nfs storage,
reinstall and the restore the backups

ok thanks

its necesary in the case off NFS server add on proxmox edit nano /etc/fstab and type de mount NFS resourse? or only configure over console web gui?

you can simply add the nfs server in the gui (be sure to select VZDump backup file as type) and then you can backup your vms to that server

ok
yesteday add one NFS server without problems over GUI web, but now get this error
