Hi,
I had a misfortune with the HDD on an proxmox install used for home
the HDD developed some bad sectors
fortunately there was on some area where I have recovered all important data ( pve-root and pve-data where intact ) - it seems it was on boot part which made the server to not boot anymore
While I had backups of vm's on the NAS prior of trying to recover data from the defective HDD I was able to install a new one on a new HDD (with the same name, IP,... on the same hardware) and with some search on the old disk I as able to make recover of all vm's without issue
I wander if I can recover the historical data of performance
memory, cpu, NIC,.... usage
for all of the VM's and for the server at whole
I was not able to find any "how to" about this
please point me in the right direction
