I configured the correct SMTPD Banner Address with official Servername (mail.xxx.com)
But some mail servers did not accept mails from our PMG because the header still contains:

Received: from pmg.gye-verw.lan (mail.xxxxx.de. [188.119.1xx.2xx])

Ho to change this to the official servername as well as in the SMTPD Header?
I don't want to change the complete internal hostname...

Thanks
Tobias

Thanks for your answer.

changing the complete hostname is not what we want...

What I found out is, you have to change the "myhostname" Variable in the /etc/postfix/main.cf
after restarting postfix all outgoing mails have this new myhostname in the "from" field in the header....
