Rebooted - NICS Lost

Added a virtual NIC to a VM and assigned to VMBR0. Removed that NIC and proxmox hung.

Restarted the server and all NICS seem to be completely gone.

Curiously, we have a USB port defined as a NIC. And it is the only thing showing.
lswh -class network shows the USB adapter only.
Bios reports both ethernet ports available and up.

Issue resolved. Fully shut down server. Opened it up, Pulled the NIC module and reseated. Restarted. Ports came back up. 3+ hours of trying to troubleshoot this in linux.
