When you reboot Proxmox after, say, a kernal update do you use the Proxmox GUI or do you ssh into it and reboot from there? Is there an advantage of one over the other?
We typically use both same time: While in ssh set maintenance to that node which should reboot (on any clusternode: ha-manager crm-command node-maintenance enable nodename_for_reboot) see in GUI the ha-defined vm+lxc "self-migrating", after done sync and reboot, then ping to see once is back. Ssh again and disable maintenance and once again see in GUI the vm+lxc flying home as before.
