Yesterday my Proxmox server randomly started shutting down on its own. I tried running an update hoping maybe it would fix whatever the issue might be. I THOUGHT the update ran successfully and I was all good. Then the shutdowns started again. I tried a few troubleshooting items and it seems maybe the update had been interrupted. I ran sudo dpkg --configure -a and got the below. root@mkznet:~# dpkg --configure -a Setting up iperf3 (3.12-1+deb12u1) ... locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory Setting up pve-qemu-kvm (8.0.2-6) ... Then the system shutdown. Now I get "E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem." whenever I try to do anything with apt or apt-get. And when I re-run dkpg --configure -a I get this: Setting up initramfs-tools (0.142) ... update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated) Processing triggers for initramfs-tools (0.142) ... update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-6.2.16-14-pve at which point the system shuts down. I've tried everything I can find online and nothing is helping or making any progress.
