Random crashes after 5.0 reinstall

I upgraded to version 5 and now have occasional crashes.

No records left in /var/log/syslog or /var/log/messages, system just goes down. Logs are silent until it boots itself back up.

Hardware is SuperMicro X10SDV-6C+-TLN4F.

Anybody running into anything similar?

Any tips on getting to the bottom of this?
