We are struggling with a proxmox server for 2 weeks now. During checking every aspect of the server I suddenly noticed something strange. In the proxmox webinterface the RAM is shown as 3 GB used out of the 16 GB which is installed.
However when I login to the server with ssh and use the top command I see it uses 12 GB out of the 16.. How is this difference to be explained?
I installed snmpd also to monitor the server. This one also shows 3 GB used.
