RAM Usage Discrepancy

When viewing the RAM usage of a PBS VM in the host view, it shows the usage to be 94%. I have some other monitoring tools (Pulse, Proxcenter), that also mirror this high number. However, if I SSH to the actual VM and run htop, it shows the usage to be much lower, like 20%.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, which report is accurate?

Both. PVE also counts cache. Htop shows this as yellow but it's hard to see/interpret. See free -h and google something like proxmox memory usage. There's decade old discussions about this.

Ok, so the systems are using different ways to interpret the RAM usage, makes sense. But.....when does it become an issue that needs correction?
