After creating a container I always manually enable quotas: vzctl set CT_ID --quotaugidlimit 500 --save

Not much work or trouble, but is there a good reason not to enable it by default when creating a container?

p.s. I'm still loving PMVE, the best free virtualization solution there is. Keep it simple and solid guys!

Quota is enabled by default (but quotaugidlimit is not set). Why should we set it?

Because quotas on common hosting controlpanels like Plesk don't work without it.

I agree with this suggestion. I just went and set --quotaugidlimit to something so vz quotas would work in Plesk.
