Hi, so i have a basic question , i have a five node cluster and i was wondering if on one of the servers i could setup a proxmox vm instance purely for keeping quorum, ie if i loose 3 server now i lose quorum, but if i have a virtual proxmox purely to keep quorum, it wouldnt run anything no vm's etc, would that be feasable, or even possible.

Thanks
Kurt

Hi,

It makes no sense to have a Quorum VM on the cluster.
Because if a node with the Vm goes down you lose 2 Nodes.
You can tune the quorum settings but I wouldn't recommend it.
