Quick question about OVS

Hello,

I have what is probably a very stupid question.

I am looking at switching from Linux Bridge to OVS. A lot of the guides have a step where you install openvswitch-switch, but in the GUI, the options for creating OVS Bridge, Bond, and IntPort are already there, so does that mean I don't actually have to do anything extra to start using OVS? It's already there?

I am on version 8.1.10.
