(Question) Cloning templates from SMB Server across all nodes

Hello!

I would like to know if its possible to clone templates that are hosted on a SMB server from one node to another. The purpose is generally to optimize the process across all clusters without the need of having the templates stored in all nodes.

Let me clarify. First I have a Windows Server 2022 template backed-up on the samba server

Upon restoring, the template storage will remain on samba one (at my case smb)

Now we can perform a full clone of the template to make it a VM. But we need to make sure the storage is set to localstorage and not the smb one, so the VM gets hosted on the current node.

The issue now is that, lets suppose my Windows2022P (under smb storage) is hosted on FR10. I cannot perform a full-clone of that template on FR11 in order to make a VM in FR11 with that template - because the target storage shows only the smb storage and not localstorage as follows

When trying to full-clone from FR10 where the smb Windows2022 template is placed. I get local storage too

Question: Is there a way to get the local storage option on other nodes cloning from FR10, or i will have to restore that smb template on all nodes in order to full clone in local storage?
