With the upcoming version 4.0 release being based on Debian 8, and Debian 8 coming with Samba 4.1, can/will we be able to join the host machines to AD domains and use group membership to control user access.
It would be nicer to be able to manage users from within AD security groups rather than the current situation (where we essentially have to create a copy of every user that needs permissions on the host/cluster)
