Hi, sorry but i have the same problem and this doesn´t work for me.
I installed a Test-Cluster with 3 Nodes and one Test-VM on shared Storage (NFS) to test the restart problem with the softwatchdog.
If HA isn´t enabled at all. (never enabled a VM to HA, never created a ressource group and so on), in the HA-Cluster view there is no "lrm" running and also no restart is triggered at all. (doesn´t matter if i cut off the network)
After that i enabled HA on my test-vm and created a testing HA-Group and the fencing works as expected.
But after that, it doesn´t matter if i disable the HA on the testvm or also delete the HA-Group, the fencing still persists (if network connection is lost, no quorum on the node holding the vm)
So the option to remove all VM´s from HA isn´t working here.
As summary: i have no vm with enabled HA,also i have no HA-Group and still the fencing is enabled.
How can i disable it ? I don´t need this HA feature at this moment, i just activated it once on a live cluster and want to disable it again.
I tested it with this configuration:
