Hi there,
I'm looking into purchasing a connectx-3 qsfp card and using it with a breakout cable to provide 4x10gbe connections.
My understanding although I have never done this myself is that proxmox will see 4x10gbe interfaces
My question is, am I about to passthrough each connection to a different VM? In my current setup with an xl710 I have the following passthrough setup:
1 interface to proxmox
2 to truenas VM
1 to opnsense VM
I can't use SR-IOV on this motherboard annoyingly enough. It's an x299 MSI motherboard.
Is this setup viable on a connect-x 3 with a qsfp breakout cable?
Thanks
