Hello,

I'm fully aware how the burst IOPS work within QEMU being a leaky bucket setup, however all the reading I have done on QEMU and IOPS Burst value is their should also be set a value of how many seconds you wish this to be.

For example if set to 10 Seconds then the bucket size is IOPS Burst Value * 10, currently there is no GUI option for this, and googling I have been unable to find anything specific to Proxmox, just how to set in a normal QEMU environment (e.g https://blogs.igalia.com/berto/2016/05/24/io-bursts-with-qemu-2-6/)

So within a Proxmox environment, if for example IOPS is set to 500 as standard and then 1000 burst, what is the default value used to control the size / length of the burst tank, and what is this set to by default.

Thanks,

Thanks, just the information was looking for, and yes would be a nice and Guess fairly easy change to add to the GUI. But knowing the default value has atleast allowed me to better decide the burst value per use case.

Thanks
