QEMU guest agent is not running - Even after it is installed

Hi Team,

As per the title you can see that the I am getting the error QEMU guest agent is not running,

I have installed the QEMU agent in the VM and everything is working fine,

But I am unable to ping the agent in the main shell

Please check the screenshot for the refrence,







Kindly let me know, what is the mistake I have done,

The same method I have tries for some Vms it is working, but this is not working in some VMs

Kinldy do the needful.

Did you enable the Guest Agent in the Option panel for the VM? It needs a clean fresh start of the VM (Reboot in the Proxmox VE GUI) because a new device is being added that is used to communicate with the guest agent.
