Hello,
I have had absolutely no problems with zfs replication between my two node cluster for the past 5 months. This morning when I logged into the cluster (usually hv01) and just check basic things (vm usage and such) and to check what kind of VMs I was doing replication for and backups for, I noticed that when I was under HV01 object and clicked replication it timed out, when I went under the cluster to check the replicatiob tab, it'd time out too. I then tried to login to HV02, same problem. But I can view replication tab for HV02 no problems. When I then tried to re-login to HV01, it is not allowing me to log back in.
So I decided to ssh to the server and this is where I noticed that pvesr was using a lot of CPU and was stuck at:
Feb 19 14:58:48 lon-pve1 systemd[1]: Starting Proxmox VE replication runner...
Both of my HVs are the same versions:
pve-manager/5.0-32/2560e073 (running kernel: 4.10.17-3-pve)
pve-manager/5.0-32/2560e073 (running kernel: 4.10.17-3-pve)
I have tried to restart pvesr and even stopped it, and started it again, hv1 still will not let me login to the system.
Any idea what I can do about this, without rebooting?
Thanks,
Ragnar
