Hi,

I am using Proxmox VE 9, and I've added an iscsi storage, and the "snaphosts as volume chain" is enabled.

If I create a new VM, I have to "Take a snaphsot" button activated.
But It is grayed on all imported VMs, I've tried to clone one of them, still the same problem, I am getting "The current guest configuration does not support taking new snapshots"

Is there a way to make this work with imported VMs?

Regards.

Hi @Wodel , you should provide the following information:
- what does "imported" mean in your particular situation?
- what is the resulting VM configuration that does not work?
- what is the exact storage configuration?

Outputs from the following commands will assist:
pvesm status
qm config vmid
cat /etc/PVE/storage.cfg

Use text output encoded with CODE tags.
