Hi,
I upgraded PVE from version 7.4.x to 8.2.2 in a test environment. After the installation the pve7to8 gave a warning: unexpected running and installed kernel '6.8.4-3-pve'. I think this version of kernel should be running. Why does this warning come up? I realized later that the file pve-install-repo.list doesn't exist. Maybe this would be a problem or anything else?

Hi,
FYI: we had to do a new PVE8 install because of a boot disk error and making to run the script (it doesn't make too much sense at this stage) here also comes the warning :
WARN: unexpected running and installed kernel '6.8.8-1-pve'.

with regards,
Zoltan

The fix is not yet released yet, it will be in the next version of pve-manager fixing it for future upgrades. But the package on the ISO will still be the older version, otherwise a new ISO would need to be rolled-out which is not worth it just for this.
