Hi there,
i shut down my proxmox to install a new UPS, as the old one told me the battery died.
Proper shutdown via shutdown button in pve webinterface.
After starting the machine, i receive a short "Welcome to GRUB" and then:
and nothing more. no grub rescue, no shell. it just stays like that.
I installed proxmox on a ZFS RAID1 several months ago, i guess it was up to date or almost up to date when that happened.
My server is an old fujitsu server that does not suuport UEFI boot. I found some postings on my mobile saying legacy boot and FZS does not work anymore?
Any idea how to fix that?
Meanwhile I pulled 1 ZFS drive out and reinstalled PVE 8.2.2 with normal lvm/lvm thin storage on the other drive, as i had to access data from my VM/LXC backups.
I'd prefer to recover the single ZFS drive and then recover the ZFS RAID.
EDIT: Okay, i got the ZFS installation back to life following this:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/ZFS:_S...iring_a_System_Stuck_in_the_GRUB_Rescue_Shell
until and including step 6.
Then jumping to step 9.
