I'am using proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 3.4-171 (running kernel: 2.6.32-44pve).
Today one of our members reported, that his pve-login that he used for several month failed when he tried to login.
1. We tested his login from several workstations and everythink worked fine.
2. We checked his workstation time against the proxmox time - identical.
3. I checked iptables and searched his ip and mac-address - no rules.
4. I checked ipset --list - no results.
5. I reset his browser cache and tried a different broweser - no success.
6. At the end, we did a reboot of the proxmox host - no success.
7. After I tried to connect over IP-Address and not over hostname, I got access to the host.
Any idear, why login failed while using a domain-name and worked while using an ip-address?
