PVE Kernel install

when installing new kernels do i do

proxmox-kernel-6.11
or
proxmox-kernel-6.11.0-1-pve
or
proxmox-kernel-6.11.0-1-pve-signed

I dont understand the difference between regular pve and pve-signed.
Would someone please explain the difference>
