Hello,
I'm a new PVE user - testing the solutions.
Have a problem with Netapp iscsi storage. I can add iscsi connection to the storage, work ok.
When I try to add lvm on discovered volume there is no error, lvm appears in datacenter / storage panel but no volume group is created under proxmox host disks panel.
I cannot figure out the problem.

Hi @robert_sliwa , congratulation on your first post after 4 years :-)

Given that you're using NetApp, it's likely that you have multiple paths to your iSCSI storage. If that assumption is correct, the issue is in the absence of a proper multipath configuration. In such cases, the system detects the same LVM group on multiple devices and refuses to proceed, interpreting them as separate, conflicting volumes.

This should be evident in the system logs: journalctl -n 500

Here is an article we wrote for the legacy storage systems that may help you: https://kb.blockbridge.com/technote/proxmox-lvm-shared-storage/
